Specialisterne Solutions – the past year
”We know it very well – we are all unique so in order to offer everyone the same possibilities, we need to treat them differently. The companies are starting to realise this and there is hope that the official Denmark will join the companies in the years to come. That is what Specialisterne are fighting for!
We look forward to embracing 2022 – as ready as we have ever been.”
Carsten Lassen, managing director, Specialisterne
Thank you for the past year – we look forward to 2022
In this article, Specialisterne Solutions take a look at the past year and look at the future perspectives of 2022.
At Specialisterne Solutions, we are proud of all the things that we have achieved in the past year – especially of our new scheme Specialisterne Academy which is now functioning as the quick way for IT candidates to find work.

Two Specialisterne departments
In 2021, we divided Specialisterne into two departments: Specialisterne and Specialisterne Solutions. The latter focuses on the companies. This article describes how we have created inclusion of autistic employees in Danish companies through the means of recruitment processes, management guidance, consultants and Specialisterne Academy. You can read our Christmas greeting from the citizen-oriented department of Specialisterne here.
Specialisterne Solutions – what we do
Specialisterne Solutions is the company-oriented umbrella organisation that includes our Management Scheme, consultancy department, recruitment activities and Specialisterne Academy. In 2021, Specialisterne Solutions had a turnover of € 1.6 million. We look forward to creating even more value for Danish companies in 2022.
In 2021, Specialisterne Solutions established their own website, www.specialisternesolutions.dk, enabling us to communicate more directly with our target group: the companies.
Management Scheme
Management Scheme is our framework for creating inclusion of neurodivergent (mainly autistic) talents within the companies through management guidance. As an example, we carried out an exciting recruitment process for the company Grundfos in Hungary, hiring five employees. We look forward to 2022 and a recruitment co-operation agreement with a large, Danish company already in place.
IT consultants
In 2021, our consultancy department did very well and so we were able to hire another eight talented consultants. They are all autists or have similar qualities and they are mainly in charge of IT tasks for Danish companies.
Specialisterne Academy
Specialisterne Academy was established in 2021 as a way of dealing with this challenge: recently graduated IT candidates with autism and similar qualities find it hard to enter the labour market. At the same time, the labour market is crying out for qualified IT candidates.
In 2021, we carried out upskilling processes for 30 talented candidates and many of them have now landed a job. We hope that we will be able to offer this process to at least 30-40 candidates in 2022.
In 2022, our candidates will have a better chance of joining our upskilling process, now that Specialisterne Academy has been accepted onto the “Regionale Positivliste” (regional courses for unemployed people).
Specialisterne Innovation
The recently established innovation department at Specialisterne has had a busy 2021 with three large projects in co-operation with Specialisterne Foundation:
”Learning and Inclusion through Play” is a pilot project developed by Specialisterne Foundation in co-operation with LEGO Foundation. The goal is to create successful inclusion, welfare and learning for children. In 2022, we will upgrade and expand this project.
In co-operation with Specialisterne Foundation, inclusion agents will create inclusion of neurodivergent people in companies located in northern Jutland.
WIN-WITH-U is a EU project aiming at creating a model for improved inclusion of autistic people within the European labour market.
Mentor Corps
Just like the rest of Denmark, the corps of consultants at Specialisterne was hit by the corona epidemic. The social isolation that we all experienced hit our consultants particularly hard. And that is why we have established a volunteer Mentor Corps here at Specialisterne Solutions. In 2021, our ten mentees and their volunteer mentors met up for several walks and spoke about anything from nutrition to love. It means a lot to our mentees that they have been given an opportunity to talk about the topics that are so important to them.
Specialisterne are building the bridge that connects talents with the need for qualified manpower.
